The Director of Neighbor Services supports GraceWorks Ministries’ mission, values, goals, and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality service, commitment and accountability. As a member of the GraceWorks Ministries’ executive management team, performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: communication, teamwork, job knowledge and leadership in a manner appropriate for a Christian departmental manager of a faith-based organization.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Neighbor Services serves neighbors by supporting, anticipating and identifying relational and community needs. This position will oversee existing programs and implement new programs and services based on the goals of the GraceWorks’ strategic plan.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement programs and services for neighbors, based on community needs, in accordance with current strategic plan.
• Oversee existing programs and services. Make recommendations as needed to President / CEO with supporting documentation for areas needing improvement.
• Plan and execute outreach events to serve neighbors.
• Manage GraceWorkers and staff members who assist families, ensuring they receive quarterly training and educational resources.
• Selects, orientates, trains, assigns, schedules, coaches, and counsels staff and volunteers. Communicates expectations, plans, monitors, appraises and reviews job contributions; enforces policies and procedures.
• Help create the annual budget and participate in budget meetings when necessary.
• Oversees neighbor services financial objectives by estimating requirements for budgeting projections; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions,
• Be accounting for adhering to the budget for the Neighbor Services budget and manage the distribution of financial, in-kind and community partner resources.
• Manage and analyze spending each month compared to budget and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Contributes information and analysis to functional strategic plans and reviews.
• Maintains neighbor relations by facilitating open channels of communication with neighbors, other departments, all GraceWorks personnel, volunteers, and service partners.
• Resolves neighbor and visitor complaints and/or channels them to appropriate department for solution.
• Evaluates and improves technological advances for quality controls to provide optimum experience for neighbors.
• Identifies future neighbor services needs and communicate them to CEO and Director of Development for fundraising purposes
• Contributes to neighbor services effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to neighbor services; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
• Accomplishes neighbor services and ministry goals by accepting ownership for and accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities that add value to ministry objectives.
• Develops Education programs for Neighbor Services and the Community.
• Prepare accurate departmental reports for the Board in a timely manner.
• Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.

Oversees Neighbor Services Staff and GraceWorkers

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Requirement of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Biblical Counseling or related area. Preferred advanced degree and 3-5 years experience.

• Background in Social Work or Pastoral Counseling
• Demonstrated experience in Educational Program Management
• Experience in managing staff and volunteers
• Experience in event planning
• Strong administrative and budgeting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals

• Good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word and Excel and learning new databases
• Highly developed organizational, planning and oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time and self-management skills; strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Able to tune into others’ feelings, thoughts, and daily context
• Act in socially appropriate ways, showing a genuine interest in other people; able to ask good questions, and listen keenly

POSITION SUMMARY
The Mobile Service Manager serves neighbors in Williamson County and beyond by providing Mobile Food Services and other key tangible (rent, utility and other) and intangible assistance. This newly created post will help identity and make suggestions on how to meet needs in communities we serve as well as look for new mobile and service opportunities. This position will be responsible for scheduling and hosting Mobile Food Pantries as well as Neighbor services days to offer additional services. The Mobile Services Manager will help develop supporting relationships with volunteers, mobile food pantry host sites, other community and organizational supporters and partners. This post ensures that implementation of all new programs and services are based on the goals of the GraceWorks’ strategic plan.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, develop and execute Mobile Food Pantries and Neighbor Services days for neighbors, based on community needs, in accordance with current strategic plan
• Oversee those mobile programs and services
• Consult with Director of Neighbor Services to provide consistent assistance; especially during Neighbor Services days
• Make recommendations as needed to President / CEO with supporting documentation for areas of opportunity and improvement
• Look for new opportunities for Mobile Food Pantries and Neighbor Services days.
• Work with Volunteer Manager to solicit volunteers to assist with Mobile Food Pantries
• Work with Volunteer Manager to solicit GraceWorkers to assist with Neighbor Services days
• Attend weekly Leadership Team meetings

The Sales Associate supports the GraceWorks Ministries’ goals, values and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality service, commitment and accountability. As a member of the GraceWorks Ministries’ team, performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: communication, teamwork, job knowledge and leadership.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Associate will be responsible to fulfill any of the tasks to complete a sale of our donated goods from operating the cash register, organizing and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor, assisting customers, and cleaning common areas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cashier Duties:
• Count money and place in cash register.
• Open store and operate cash register during store hours.
• Assist customers in their purchases. If they have a voucher, help them select the items that are applicable to their voucher.
• Balance cash register and perform closing duties, including reports, at end of day.
• Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Dust, straighten and stock merchandise as needed
• Change prices with permission of supervisor
• Post sales on whiteboards
• Clean dressing rooms
• Perform assigned kitchen and work area clean-up.
