POSITION SUMMARY
The Processing Manager is responsible for the coordination and oversight of GraceWorks donation processing system. This includes organizing and coordinating the processing of sales inventory from the time it is donated to the time it hits the retail sales floor. The Processing Manager will manage staff and volunteers responsible for various aspects of the processing operation. They will also work directly with the retail manager to ensure pertinent merchandise is consistently available for the retail floor.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Train and assign staff and regular volunteers for specific duties.
• Work with Volunteer Relations Manager to assign job responsibilities for periodic volunteers.
• Collaborate with Retail and Boutique managers to determine needed merchandise and or quick selling items.
• Help set the quality of merchandise standards and support the encouragement of follow-through of staff and volunteers tasked with placing of merchandise on retail floor.
• Engage outside businesses and organizations to arrange for pass-through of unusable donations.
• Oversee seasonal and departmental inventory for integration into the ongoing processing chain.
• Coordinate inventory flow from back door to warehouse, and from warehouse to tagging area.
• Work with Facilities Manager to determine adequate warehouse space for inventory as needed.
• Lift, sort and price inventory when necessary.
• Manage staff and volunteers working in the processing chain.
• Be able to tell the GraceWorks story to anyone who asks.
• Able to react to change proactively and handle all other duties and essential tasks as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required; Valid Driver’s License Required; Retail experience preferred.

• Brand awareness and fashion sensibility is mandatory

WORK ENVIRONMENT

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager of GraceWorks West will be responsible for supporting the Manager of GraceWorks West by assisting with overseeing and managing all aspects of satellite location.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with daily operations of satellite location (including but not limited to opening & closing procedures, Neighbor Services, Food Pantry, & Retail Operations)
• Fills in when Manager is not available
• Vet neighbors coming in for assistance and recommend GraceWorks services that are within compliance of our policies
• Daily data entry in neighbor services and retail data bases
• Assists volunteers with daily operations
• Participate in volunteer meetings and trainings
• Participate in GraceWorks fundraising and outreach events
• Builds relationships with community partners
• Assists with Thrift Store operations and end of day deposits
• Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Part-time employees (sales associates) and all volunteers in absence of Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Associate will be responsible to fulfill any of the tasks to complete a sale of our donated goods from managing donations at the backdoor, to sorting and tagging donated items, replenishing merchandise, operating the cash register, organizing merchandise on the sales floor, assisting customers, and cleaning common areas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
For all positions:
• Bring in any after-hours donations left on back dock.
• Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.

Cashier Duties:
• Count money and place in cash register.
• Open store and operate cash register during store hours.
• Assist customers in their purchases. If they have a voucher, help them select the items that are applicable to their voucher.
• Balance cash register and perform closing duties, including reports, at end of day.

Merchandise Processing Duties:
• Sort items according to suitability for sale and by merchandise type and price
• Clean any items that are worth selling, but need to be spruced up for sale
• Tag merchandise
• Hang clothing or place housewares or linens on shelving
• Place in store as space permits or put in tubs for storage if Processing area is full

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Dust, straighten and stock merchandise as needed
• Change prices with permission of supervisor
• Post sales on whiteboards
• Clean dressing rooms
• Sort hangers
• Perform assigned kitchen and work area clean-up
